WE HAVE FRONTLINE! New shipment today, we appologize that it took so long, but it's finally here. This week I got some work done on the lobby-to-grooming gate. It's turned into more of a project than I'd initially planned, but such is the nature of these projects. You'll all have to deal with the baby-gate for another few days, but by god on Tuesday you'll be greeted by one hell of a fine gate. This is a milestone project, as the next task in line is to put some actual work into the Daycare room. If you haven't been in lately, you'll notice a TV on the wall in there. It looks out of place now, but will make sense when The Dog Whisperer is playing on it. --Yes, we are, in fact, making plans. I'm trying to get back on the website here when I can find some time, and eventually commit myself to update the photo albums and get some new stuff up as well as adding some content to the links over there <<.

OK, we're technically "OPEN". The place is still a mess and pretty much the entire building is still under construction, but we are semi-operational and are now taking appointments. Excuse the mess, it may be a while before we are completely through with everything and everything gets where it needs to be. Please remember to call ahead to schedule an appointment as Amanda is pretty much booked a couple days in advance and will remain so for at least the next week.

I know, I know -- your dogs are filthy, they're shedding on the couch and you've recently noticed a mysterious-odor following you to the fridge -- We appologize for the inconvenience, but I remain confident you'll all get over it. ;oD

The "Original" Paw Spa is now closed. We put a lot of work into the building, and managed to turn it into a very decent place to do business, but truth be told we outgrew the place before we finished moving in. Maggie, our first and last customer there, checked out on Saturday, February 24th, and the OPEN sign was turned off for the last time on her way out. We have since spent the rest of that night, and most of every day since overhauling the new building and I must say, it's looking better than we had hoped. Things are getting done and rapid progress is being made. Tomorrow we will begin finishing our "new" hardwood floors that we discovered beneath layer upon layer of old carpet, linoleum, VCT, peel-and-stick laminate, and every known flooring material known to man. After 2 days -- approximately 20-25 hours worth -- of scraping and sanding, followed by sanding, and then a lot of sanding, we are now down to bare wood ready for a glossy new finish. The plumbing is 85% complete (Thanks Adam!), the electrical rewiring is done (thanks Ken!), walls knocked down, holes fixed, walls painted -- the list goes on and on, but the end result is finally in sight. There is, however, a LOT more to do! Our March 2nd deadline is going to be be very close and some things may not yet be finished by the time we open the doors, so improvements and finishing touches will come as time and circumstances permit, BUT... It's looking good. Be sure to come see the new place soon! In other news, I know I said I'd work on the Photo-Albums, but all this physical labor has left me with little time and even less sleep, so that will have to wait for things to settle down, but I WILL get around to it. Work continues on the new building. We may have to close down for 5 days or so between the end of February and the beginning few days of March in order to move everything out of the old building into the new, and install the tub and other big things, but we will try to minimize our down time.

I will work on updating the Photo Album and try to include some pictures of the new shop. I'll keep my progress on the project posted here, so check back soon!

The Paw Spa is MOVING!!!
As of today at 4:55 pm, we are officially in the process of moving. We signed the lease today for a great new building, much bigger and much nicer! Our new location will be less than 1.5 miles away from our current location. The new address will be:

If you're familiar with the area, it's at the intersection of 100th St and Gravelly Lake Dr SW, across the street from the 7-11, between the H&R Block building and Arby's.
